Sutter Butte Dusters is a family-run aerial application business in Live Oak, California. We have flown Sacramento Valley fields for 75 years, in the shadow of the Sutter Buttes.

Our story
Three generations in the valley.
The business traces its roots to 1951, when Frank Sue flew crop dusting jobs from Live Oak. It was incorporated in its current form on January 15, 1964. Since then the business has grown with the valley: rice seeded by air over flooded checks every spring, orchards and row crops protected through the summer, and a fleet of Ag Cats kept in our own hangar.
We also bring an agricultural real-estate background and modern mapping software to every job. In most cases we already know your field layout, acreage and FSA numbers before you call, so getting on the schedule is quick.
